/ ask me
01 What do you actually do?
I clear the clutter to tell stories that matter.

I have worked on international campaigns, EU funded projects, have written hundreds of PRs and organised countless events.

I’m a brand and communications expert who combines creativity with strategic thinking to help you and/or your business align your goals to your purpose. To help you focus your talent, resources and skills to achieve your dreams.

Whether I’m crafting a message to mobilise people for nature, coordinating a global brand research, holding communication trainings or debunking misinformation, my mission is simple: to contribute to a world where people, nature and businesses thrive.

02 What makes you different from other communications experts?
I bring the full package: journalism-trained critical thinking, global brand expertise, reliable execution.

Some say I’m fueled by equal parts strategy and espresso. I spent years training as a journalist and communications professional, drinking unholy amounts of coffee, and then continued to learn on the job, doing everything from sapling fact sheets together for media packs, to giving TV interviews and holding a weekly radio bit discussing nature. From writing PRs, to setting up a merch shop, to planning a multiple event Danube tour or setting off a blitz social media campaign to protest against a law.

And the list could go on because it does go on, as I continue to test, learn, and experience new things with every project I take on.

I have been actively involved in communication activities for various nature conservation initiatives focusing on forests, (forestry) biomass, freshwater, climate& energy (hydropower), biodiversity and food.

In Brussels, I was part of the #Together4Forests campaign team, working so that only nature destruction-free products end up on the EU market. Our efforts led to a EU (anti) #Deforestation law being adopted, the first regulation in the world to tackle global deforestation.

In Romania, one of the highlights of my experience was contributing to saving the Jiu River, by fighting disinformation regarding small hydropower plants. I also engaged breweries and contributed to mobilising over 375,000 citizens to take part in a EU level public consultation to #ProtectWater and defend the Water Framework Directive that protects all of the EU’s water resources.

I have an unwavering belief in the power of good stories told well, and I have seen the impact good communication can have. After doing this for over 15 years, I have seen how nature and climate issues have reached the top of the public agenda, how hundreds of thousands of people can come together and change laws, and how once complicated things can be explained and understood

03 What types of projects have you worked on?
I’ve had the opportunity of leading communications across causes close to my heart, focusing on nature and education.

Some of the projects and initiatives I've worked on:

  • EU’s (anti) #Deforestation Law: From campaign messaging, communication concepts and design, to social media, and events, so that we have one law that protects forests, human rights, and makes sure europeans don’t unknowingly contribute to nature destruction.
  • Freshwater Projects: Communicating to save Danube sturgeons, to restore wetlands and pushing for climate resilience policies across the EU and in the Danube Delta.
  • Youth & Media Literacy: Helping youth harness their power through media literacy, to become active citizens who understand today's news and are able to navigate tomorrow's challenges.
  • Global Brand Management: Coordinating brand research across countries, aligning local insights with big-picture vision.
04 Can I trust you with my brand/ campaign/ dog?
Short answer: yes!

Long answer: I’ve led communications and brand strategy, managed crisis communications and advised leadership, been a spokesperson, and worked across 10+ EU and international level initiatives.

I build trust by listening deeply, collaborating widely, and create stories that enhance understanding and spark change.

05 Do you take your work seriously? Or yourself?
Always the former, rarely the latter.

I believe that professionalism and purpose go hand in hand with a human touch and good sense of humour.

Because things won't always go according to plan - your ad will be cancelled, your TV statement will be cut short, and it will rain on your event (it happened to me every time on Earth Hour - except when it snowed). And that is when being able to laugh a little will come in handy.

Because you'll start a guerrilla campaign with fishermen, plan a media training before the next TV show, and make lots of hot cocoa for those who show up despite the rain, and in the end things might just be better than planned.

So whether we’re working on improving your personal brand or implementing a high-stakes campaign, I’ll bring clarity, passion, and and extra espresso.
